25km and 70 degrees and on March 20th. 10km on the Summit Station side and 15km on the Bogus Basin side. We still have some great skiing on the East side of Soda Springs Road, but unfortunately Razorback has been lost to the sunshine and warmth.
You will notice some very large piles of snow out there - yes, we are plowing up closed trails into large piles to preserve as much snow as possible through this heat. We will use the snow to open terrain this weekend and for the modified Gold Rush. Now monikered the "Slush Rush" for this winter, we will be hosting a Kings Court format short sprint course on Saturday at 1pm. Come send off the season!
Important Trail Update: Maintenance Road and Razorback are now CLOSED
Important Operations Update: We will not be offering lessons Monday through Friday this week.
Conditions: We still have excellent skiing out of Summit Station, and across the road toward Sugar Bowl. Bogus Basin area continues to be the best skiing on the summit, but you will have to take your skis off for the walk to cross Soda Springs Road on Summit Connection.
Van Norden trailhead is closed for the season. With temperatures in the upper 60's this week, we will lose terrain very quickly. Check back daily for trail status as the weather will dictate how long and what trails remain open.
NOTICE: The number of trails/KM marked open and/or groomed may not be accurate on this page. For a detailed view of what trails have been groomed and at what time, please use our interactive map: Interactive Map
